Jordan's weeknotes and Dave Rupert's vibe
check have inspired me to give writing my own weeknotes a try. I
have no idea how long I'll do it for, but I like the way he's done his and they appear fairly easiy to compile
over the week, so we'll see!
After a week off last week where I didn't touch a computer, this week has mostly been catching up and
finishing things off on the current part of the project I didn't complete before I left.
I love the idea of creating my own /activity feed as Jonnie
Hallman has, but most of my Twitter
consumption is reading, rather than writing, so I'm not convinced how much I would use it.. It would likely end
up in a similar state to my Now page which hasn't been updated in over a year!
I'm way behind with my podcast listening, but I caught up with a couple of great episodes from
RemoteRuby: Firstly the episode with Andy Croll is great, and it was awesome to hear how well the FirstRubyFriend initiative is going. Secondly, I really loved the episode with Kevin Newton, discussing the rewrite of the Ruby Parser, SyntaxTree gem, and tackled imposter syndrome in a way that I think should be done more!
