The car got an over the air update this week which is both weird and cool. We now have multiple heat levels for the heated steering wheel which is nice!

Valentines day came and went. We don't do anything special for it, however it always reminds me of when Riina and I were first dating, and we went out for a valentines meal. It was single handedly the most awkward dinner either of us have ever had - the restaurant was filled with couples all out for the same reason, which completely killed the mood! We felt more like we were part of some experiment than anything else. We've never been out for valentines day since!

I gave a talk at work on Friday covering Pattern Matching in Ruby. It went well I think, although I completely underestimated how long it would take to prepare, so had it hanging over my head all week, which threw off week entirely. Not having done a technical talk since University, this took me by total surprise, and whilst I'm glad I did it, I have definitely taken some lessons for next time!

The title is true, I got blocked on Twitter this week by a JavaScript influencer. I haven't been able to stop crying since. He decided he would reupload the entire React documentary with his face in the corner, monitize it, and then attack them on Twitter when they asked him to take it down. Naughty naughty.

Didn't finish a book this week. To be honest, I don't think I picked up a book the entire week. Need to get back on that!
