So, as the title hints at, we bought a Tesla Model Y this week. We've been looking for a larger car for a
little while, as our 2011 VW Golf just wasn't big enough for us. We could either have the pram, the dog, or
luggage - but not all three, which as you can imagine is quite restrictive. Whilst I'm not really a fan of Musk, the Tesla Model Y has an
incredible amount of storage space, and I particularly like the fact that it's been designed and built from
the ground up as an EV - so none of this nonsense of an EV having a transmission tunnel.
As someone who has a love/hate relationship with tech, I'm intrigued by the technology in the Tesla - so
will be looking forward to playing with that over time.
Something which I know a lot of people struggle with is the stark, minimalist interior - but I'm a huge fan
of that, so I'm very happy with that too!
I had an appointement with an ophthalmologist on Monday who confirmed my earlier diagnosis of having an eye condition called Keratoconus. Thankfully it's likely to be towards it's developmental process due to my age, so I'm unlikely to require surgery - but I'll be back for a checkup in a few months to see if it's gotten any worse.
After a rather busy week at work, on Friday night I came down with a fever, which stuck around all weekend -
thankfully there was lots of rugby to watch, as the best tournament in the world (the six nations) is back!
I finished Bad Blood this week, and have been shocked throughout reading how blatant and how many warning
signs were missed by so many. Obviously the narrative is written that way, but holy crap what a scandal.
